Art & Wildlife Week Tour starting Saturday 23 April – Saturday 30 April 2016 tour leader Steve Sankey and artist-in-residence Louise Scott. Orcadian Wildlife is pleased to be working in partnership with Louise Scott, one of Scotland’s leading wildlife artists and has put together a wildlife art week for persons interested in the combination of wildlife and art. Half of the week (3 days) would involve 3 days exploring Orkney with Steve Sankey of Orcadian Wildlife: expect to see seabirds; birds of prey (especially hen harriers); long-tailed duck and great-northern divers in stunning summer plumage; wild flowers; and seals – and of course Orkney’s famous 5,000 year old Neolithic monuments such as Skara Brae and the Ring of Brodgar. The other half of the week (3 days) would be spent with your artist-in-residence, Louise Scott, as she teaches you the basics of etching using real-life wildlife seen on site. Special ‘early season’ price of £995 per person. Accommodation will be provided in the Georgian Manse of Pentland View in the East Mainland of Orkney, overlooking the Churchill Barriers and Scapa Flow. See www.orkneyunlimited.com THIS TOUR IS NOW FULL.
