Andalucia Tour: Lynx & Lammerguiers

Date/Time
Date(s) - 01/04/2015 - 10/04/2015
All Day

Our annual trip to Spain this year takes the form of a three part tour, aiming to see two specialities of Andalucia: the lynx (el lince) and the lammerguier (quebrantahuesos); as well as the returning birds of Spring. We start in the beautiful Parque Naturel de Sierra de Cazorla, where we hope to see the lammerguier, and the lynx in nearby Andujar. Next we travel to one of our favourite spots, Ronda, next to the  Parque Naturel de Sierra de Grazalema, where we’ve seen many raptors and mountain birds over the years. Finally we complete the tour via some steppe habitat (for bustards etc) at Donana National Park, for wetland birds and another attempt at the lynx. Accommodation in the three centres has been hand-picked and, as ever, the food is delicious. On last year’s (2014) April tour of Spain we saw 137 species of birds! Price £1,495 for 10 days. Arrival and departure point: Malaga. Further details please email: enquiries@orcadianwildlife.co.uk THIS TOUR IS NOW FULL.
