Wildlife & Archaeology Tour starting Saturday 25 April 2015 – tour leader Steve Sankey.  This tour will visit the islands of Rousay, South Ronaldsay and Westray; and will visit the main archaeological sites of the Ring of Brodgar, Skara Brae, Midhowe broch & chambered tomb, and the Tomb of the Eagles. Expect to see between 80 – 90 species of birds, including our winter visitors such as great northern divers, Slavonian grebes and long-tailed ducks; any early summer arrivals; and displaying hen harriers. Accommodation will be provided by The Sands Hotel in Burray – see www.thesandshotel.co.uk .
