DESCRIPTION:With 16 years experience of operation in Orkney\, our wildlife 
 and culture tours have been finely honed to blend Orkney’s natural histo
 ry with its Neolithic\, Bronze-age\, Pictish and Viking sites. The good ne
 ws is that all the archaeological sites such as the Tomb of the Eagles\, a
 re in stunning natural settings\, and one at Brodgar is even an RSPB natur
 e reserve! Imagine the sounds of skylarks\, curlews and lapwings as you’
 re wandering around the Ring of Brodgar\, or grey seals bobbing around off
  Skara Brae! Expect to see seabirds such as puffins and gannets\; and rapt
 ors such as our speciality bird\, the hen harrier. Three islands are visit
 ed: Hoy (where sea eagles breed!)\, South Ronaldsay and Westray\, and two 
 days are spent on the Orkney Mainland. A ‘free day’ enables you to vis
 it Kirkwall\, with its attractions of St. Magnus cathedral and Tankerness 
 House museum\, or else wander around your hotel looking for the most north
 erly little tern colony in the UK and other special birds and plants. Acco
 mmodation is provided by the 4* Sands Hotel in Burray (www.thesandshotel.c
 o.uk)\, and transport is by means of our comfortable 9 seater minibus. Tou
 r size is usually restricted to a maximum of 6 so that you are guaranteed 
 lots of individual attention and space. ‘Early Bird’ price if you book
