SUMMARY:Iceland in Summer
DESCRIPTION:This tour has been planned with Andy Jones of the Iceland Natur
 alist\, and will be joint-led by Steve Sankey of Orcadian Wildlife.  Ther
 e is a strong cultural link between Orkney and Iceland (the Orkneyinga Sag
 a was written in Iceland) which we will explore.  It visits South and Nor
 th-west Iceland\, and as well as the spectacular scenery will concentrate 
 on the specialist birds of the Icelandic summer: Barrow's goldeneye\, harl
 equin duck\, red-necked phalarope\, whimbrel and gyr falcon.  Cultural si
 tes will also be visited and whales and dolphins may be encountered. Pleas
